The Hunter AIDS Memorial Quilt consists of several singular panels (0.90 x 1.80 m) not housed with the Australian AIDS Quilt Project. that have never been sown together into quilt blocks of 3.80 x 3.80 m and therefore not housed with the Australian AIDS Quilt Project.
At the end of the display at the Newcastle Museum in the course of AIDS Awareness Week 2012, most of them became part of museum´s permanent collection.
