Montgomery Park Cotlands Aids Herdenkingsmuur in de West Park Begraafplaats sinds 1 December 1997
onbekend
Babies who died of AIDS under the hospice care of Cotlands, a nonprofit organization, are buried in a memorial wall at a local cemetary, on May 29, 2013 in Johannesburg, South Africa. The facility used to provide hospice care for babies dying of AIDS, but now that the disease is successfully treatble with antiviral medication, pregnant mothers who take the ARV drugs do not pass the HIV virus on to their babies. No babies have died in their facility in 3 years, so it has changed from a hospice to an orphanage.
