У Львові відкрили пам`ятник загиблим від чуми ХХ століття

КИЇВ. 9 липня. УНН. У Львові відкрили пам’ятник померлим від СНІДу, передає УНН. Скульптурну композицію у вигляді перехрещеної стрічки, котра є міжнародним символом боротьби з епідемією СНІДу, встановили у сквері на розі вулиць Японської та Єфремова.

На відкриття пам’ятного знаку прийшли львівські волонтери, представники міської влади, ВІЛ-позитивні та хворі на СНІД мешканці міста. Вони запалили лампадки і вшанували пам'ять тих, хто помер від цієї недуги. Присутні наголосили, що хворим на СНІД та ВІЛ-позитивним городянам бракує спеціального медичного закладу для лікування, а саме стаціонару, де б цим людям надавали кваліфіковану допомогу. Під час встановлення пам'ятного знаку відбувся молебень за упокій тих, хто помер від цього тяжкого інфекційного захворювання.
