In the course of musealization of the Dutch AIDS Memorial Quilt, the Tropenmuseum in Amsterdam acquired the quilt block made by Dutch buddies for their clients at aids hospices in LopBuri and Thatako, Thailand. The Thai quilt block was shown in the Tropenmuseum earlier as part of the exhibition 'Death is alive' ('De dood leeft') November 2011 - March 2012.Block 25 of the Dutch AIDS Memorial Quilt has been transfered to the Tropenmuseum on 06 June 2016.
